Dragonfly
I don't know why I thought the finale was last night. I thought I read it somewhere, but I may have just been reading a post from another misguided viewer.

Last night wasn't bad. We both thought Roz was the weakest last week, and she went home. We think Michelle should probably be the one to go next week. Josh made us laugh some, Chris only made us snicker, but at least he managed to do it several times throughout his act. By far we felt that Ty was the best. He really has good stage presence, and exudes confidence, but not in a cocky way at all. He's also very nice looking, which can't hurt, because I think part of Eddie Murphy's success was not just because he was so funny (notice I said "was"), but also because he had an appearance that was right for movies. I think Ty has that same look about him, and expect he will do well no matter what the outcome is of LCS.

I would also like to mention that we have a spider web outside of our house that has become increasingly upsetting to me over the past 2 weeks. It's a thick web that has been made into a perfect funnel shape. 2 Spiders have been living in that web, which is weird by itself, right? I always thought spider webs were single-spider dwellings, but one of the spiders in this particular web is HUGE, and the other one is less huge, so I figured maybe they were a couple or something.

I took a couple of pictures of them before we left for vacation, because I was afraid no one would believe me who hadn't seen them. I mean, seriously, they are creepy big, and the biggest one is like some kind of MONSTER. Seriously. So, last night I went out there to take a well-distanced peek at them, and guess what? The Monster was there, full front and center, looking even larger if that's possible. The smaller one? Well, I thought I could see it in the funnel, but when I stepped in for a closer look, I saw that only its legs were there. The body was gone! The monster had eaten the other spider! Holy CRAP!!!!!

I am very, very, very super duper afraid of spiders as a whole, but this new development has given me a new and bigger kind of heebie jeebies. We have a monster in our back yard, and now I'm wondering if it's safe to let the beagle out to potty lest she get pulled into the funnel and sucked dry!

Charlie says the monster must be female, because just like humans, she sucks the life and soul out of the male. HA HA HA! I guess he doesn't want dinner tonight.
